Account Managers are in sales positions. They are responsible for developing long-term relationships with customers and connecting with key business executives and stakeholders to increase business for oil and gas and construction companies. Their job varies depending on the company, but their roles can include:

  • Liaising between customers and internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery products or services for customers.
  • Operating as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your customers
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Identify and grow opportunities within territory and collaborate with sales teams to ensure growth attainment

  • Education:
    Educational backgrounds for Account Managers can vary greatly, but many successful Account Managers generally have a degree related to business. More importantly, employers generally look for industry knowledge and/or experience in the industry and excellent communication, listening, negotiating and presenting skills.
