HR Manager


Human Resource (HR) Managers manage and roll out HR programs and services such as staffing and recruitment, employee relations, health and safety, compensation and benefits, and training and development. Their roles can include:

  • Training and the professional development of staff
  • Designing programs and policies to improve services to employees
  • Develop recruitment and retention plans for employees
  • Assist in the selection of employees
  • Help in the professional development of employees
  • Counselling management on HR-related issues
  • Organizing budgets and payroll
  • Education:
    A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or business management is generally required, as well as previous human resources experience. They must also have strong computer skills and knowledge of software such as MS Office.
